I am still not feeling my best but I needed to go shopping this morning and I know better than to let DH loose in a supermarket. So I made a quick trip to Top's. This is what I purchased:
4 - 2 ltr. Top's Diet Cola - $ .89 each = $ 3.56
2 Al Fresco Chicken Sausage - $ 3.50 each - Used $ 2./1 IP Cpns = $ 1.50 each
1 Value Pack Asst. Peppers - $ 2.44
.97 lb. Fresh Asparagus on sale at $ 1.99 lb = $ 1.93
Total OOP including bottle deposits and tax = $ 11.27
My rollover grocery budget for the month was $ 13.72 minus the $ 11.27 I spent today leaves me $ 2.45 under budget for the month. This was a very good month and I will start fresh in October with a budget of $ 200.00.

Ha! My DH could spend $200 in one trip!
Great price on the peppers.
Thanks Lucky! I love the different color peppers but they are so expensive usually that I find it cheaper to buy frozen. However these caught my eye and 3 of them will be cut up for the freezer for future use.
Sounds like your DH and mine would gte along just fine. I can send him for milk and he will bring home 6 bags of groceries which aren't really healthy for him.
