We got snowed on last night and they are saying it may be more of the same for the next couple of days. DH was up and out early this morning to snowblow so that he could put the garbage out.
I got our electric and natural gas bill today. It was $ 266.21 for 35 days which is the longest billing period we have ever had. Usually it is 29-31 days. However it was $ 20.00 less than the February bill last year. But it has been warmer this winter. I do think the meter man made a mistake on the reading though. It is 120 KWH more on the electric side than the day before when I read it. I will check the meter later today to see. Then I will determine if I will make the utility company correct the bill or not. This is one of the reasons I read and record the readings even though it is an actual read month. They seem to make mistakes to their benefit when the rates are higher in the winter. Just saying.......

Spring isn't around the corner for us. We are supposed to gte 11-14 inches of snow in the next couple of days. Shucks!
Well then I guess there's nothing left to do but stay home and eat soup!
